82 Miles in the Saddle
“Any conversation fizzled out after about 60 miles…”
Squaredot’s Andy White and Paul Tupman raced along with industry peers to celebrate 10 years of RLB. Completing the 75 mile road route and adding a 7 mile detour due to an unforeseen navigational error. They zoomed over the finish line straight onto the masseur bench, swiftly followed by a well-deserved refreshment.
Both praised the event as very well organised, great fun and can’t wait to do it again.
This race formed part of Andy and Paul’s training regime for the next big challenge, The Birmingham Velo – 100 miles closed road cycling with 1750m of climbing.
