Kimberly-Clark new EMEA Shared Services Centre goes live

The newly refurbished EMEA Shared Services centre in the sea side town of Brighton is now fully operational. Because this was fundamentally an exercise about rationalising real estate there was a high risk that the staff will be negative about such a move because of the loss of their environment. However, by carefully understanding the toolkit of requirements for how they want to work and not how they used to work we were able to deliver an activity based working platform that engages with the staff rather than alienating them. As the facility is a shared services centre as well as the conventional mix of back of office operations, the workplace assessment studies we carried out correctly identified the delicate mix of worker profiles and the attributes in terms of infrastructure that comes with them.

A calm and peaceful working environment reflecting it’s sea side location, there are plenty of dynamic and fun spaces that are visually stimulating. The look and feel achieved at Brighton reflects where the business is heading and demonstrates it’s core values to it’s staff and visitors alike.

A short film has been produced to show what has been achieved.
