Bristol & Bath Science Park opens

Science and Universities Minister David Willetts officially opened the £300m facility that aims to be a hub for new hi-tech firms to bring technology ideas from the laboratory to the market. However, The Science Park will also be a flexible and professional hub for collaboration between industry and academia. Supporting the sustainable agenda is vital amongst many key components that go to enabling a green building design. Minimising energy requirements with smart solutions should go hand-in-hand with an interior design that focuses on the provision of space that is comfortable, versatile and user friendly. At the core of the park is the central atrium, the social heart with space to meet, eat, collaborate and network. The Bristol and Bath Science Park provides an exceptional, energy efficient and sustainable, environment for businesses of all sizes from start up to mature enterprises. Bespoke spaces can readily be created for each new tenant. Opportunities for exchange of ideas, networking and forming new business liaisons abound. All of this is achieved in a truly inspirational setting designed actively to encourage business innovation and growth.
