Material Worlds
Squaredot director, David Kramer takes part in this months FX forum on how new materials can be used and the risks involved. He argues that in a world and a climate dictated by environmental factors and cost, there has been a great divergence in the way people use materials.
The expert panel agreed that one of the most interesting developments has seen materials being taken out of context. "Churning the whole mix up, is very exciting and product's that are normally on the floor or a wall but used for something completely different, whether it's structural or aesthetic, changes your perspective on how we view things".
