We're proud to share some big news: Squaredot has officially been acquired by SPOR Group, bringing together two businesses that have spent years solving different halves of the same problem.

One Team, Not Two

For 25 years, Squaredot has focused on the space itself, designing workplaces that people genuinely want to be in. We've delivered more than 980 projects and picked up 25 British Council for Offices (BCO) Awards and finalist placements along the way, including winning the (BCO) National Awards 2017 for Fit Out of Workplace for Birmingham City Council.

SPOR Group has spent that same time making sure the technology inside those spaces actually works, helping organisations move past the all-too-common failure mode of meeting room AV that looks good on paper but doesn't perform when it matters.

Put those two skillsets together, and something changes for our clients: instead of a workplace design team and a separate AV integrator hoping their plans line up somewhere down the road, they now get one team, thinking about the space and the systems inside it, from the very first conversation.

What This Means for Our Clients

Nothing changes about how we work day to day. Squaredot continues to operate from our existing studio in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, with the same team our clients already know and trust:

  • Kris Krokosz remains Managing Director

  • David Kramer continues as Business Consultant

What does change is the resource and reach now behind us. As part of the wider SPOR Group, we have access to additional capacity, capabilities and SPOR's Maidenhead office, where it makes sense for a project, as we continue to grow.

In practice, this means design and integration no longer sit in separate silos. Space planning, interior design, and technology strategy get worked out together, rather than a workplace being designed first and the AV fitted in afterwards as an afterthought. Fewer handovers, fewer gaps, and one team accountable for how the finished space actually performs.

A Natural Fit

Want to hear it in their own words? Watch Kris Krokosz and Chris Gore talk through the acquisition in the video below:

Commenting on the acquisition, Kris Krokosz, Managing Director of Squaredot, said:

"The acquisition brings together complementary expertise, experience and relationships, creating a strong platform for continued growth and development. Existing clients will continue to benefit from the knowledge and specialist experience that have been at the heart of the business, alongside the additional resources and opportunities that the acquisition provides."

Chris Gore, Co-Founder and Group Strategic Director at SPOR Group, added:

"We are delighted to welcome Squaredot into SPOR Group. The acquisition is a natural fit for both businesses, bringing together complementary capabilities, talented people and strong customer relationships. It is also important to us that Squaredot's existing customers continue to have access to the people and specialist knowledge they know and trust."

A Track Record Built on Trust

Squaredot's client base includes organisations such as SCC, Bristol & Bath Science Park, CareCo, CBRE IM, IM Group, Kimberly-Clark (Madrid), Manchester Airports Group, and Savills (Birmingham), relationships that bring additional expertise and established trust into the wider SPOR Group.

Ready for What's Next

If you've got a workplace project on the horizon, an office move, a refurbishment, an expansion, this is the point where planning it properly gets a whole lot easier. Design and technology, considered together from day one.

We're so proud of what Squaredot has built over the last 25 years and just as excited about what comes next as part of SPOR Group.
